Talk to our corporate team

For one transfer or a company tie-up. We will call you back.

We usually call back within 30 minutes.

One move, two sets of people

HR wants control. The family wants calm. We give both.

Every employee move has two customers. The first is your company: the HR or admin team that approves the move, pays the bill and needs it to stay inside the relocation policy. The second is the employee and their family, who are leaving a home, a school and a neighbourhood they know.

These two groups need very different things. HR needs fewer follow-up calls, clear numbers and clean paperwork. The family needs someone patient who explains each step and handles their things with care. Most movers serve only one side well. We have built our corporate service to serve both, and this page is split the same way, so each reader can go straight to their part.

Part one · For HR & admin teams

Less chasing for you. More control over every move.

You should not have to compare three quotes for every transfer, call the mover for updates or collect bills from five cities. We set up one simple system with you once, and every move follows it, whether you transfer one person a year or several every month.

A single point of contact

One account manager looks after all your company's moves, in every city. HR calls one number. No new vendor to brief in each city, and no repeating your policy every time.

Agreed rate cards

We fix rates with you in advance, by home size and distance band. Every move is then priced the same way, so you can budget a year of transfers without surprises.

An approval workflow

Nothing starts until you say yes. After the survey, your named approver gets the item list and quote. Once approved, we fix dates with the employee directly.

Consolidated GST invoices

One invoice per month or per batch of moves, with GST details, the employee's name and a move reference on each line. Your finance team can match it in minutes.

Move status reports

A regular report shows which moves are booked, in progress and complete, with any issue noted. Useful for budget reviews, audits and answering "where is my stuff?" calls.

Policy limits handled for you

Share your grade-wise limits once. If an employee wants something extra, like a second car or a piano, we flag it to you, or quote it to the employee separately if you prefer.

Storage and housing gaps

New flat not ready? Goods wait in our storage while the family stays in company guest housing, and reach the new home on the day of key handover.

Multi-city coverage

Metro to metro, or a small town to a big city, the process and the rate card stay the same. Car and bike transport can be added to the same move.

In simple terms, here is what comes off HR's plate: finding a mover in each city, checking quotes line by line, answering the employee's daily "when will the truck come?" calls, and collecting scattered bills at the end of the quarter. What stays with you is only the decision: approve or not. Everything else is our job, and your account manager is answerable for it.

Status at a glance

You always know where every move stands

When three employees are moving in the same month, HR often becomes the middle person. The employee calls HR, HR calls the mover, and nobody has a clear answer. We cut out that loop.

Each move is tracked through the same simple stages, and your account manager shares status in the format you choose: a short weekly email, a shared sheet or a quick call. The employee gets their own updates directly from their move manager, so they rarely need to call you. If anything goes off plan, such as a delayed truck in the monsoon or a lift that is out of order, you hear it from us first, along with what we are doing about it.

Rate cards

One price list, agreed once, used for every move

A rate card is a simple table we agree with you before the first move. It sets the price for each type of move, so HR does not need to negotiate every time. Here is the kind of layout we use. Your actual rates depend on your policy, the cities you move between and how many moves you expect in a year.

Move typeWithin the same cityNearby cityLong distance
1 BHK household₹7,000 – ₹11,000₹12,000 – ₹16,000₹20,000 – ₹35,000
2 BHK household₹12,000 – ₹15,000₹20,000 – ₹23,000₹25,000 – ₹45,000
3 BHK and larger₹15,000 – ₹30,000₹25,000 – ₹40,000₹35,000 – ₹90,000
Car transport₹9,000 – ₹11,500₹12,000 – ₹14,500₹17,000 – ₹25,000
Bike transport₹3,000 – ₹7,000₹7,000 – ₹10,500₹10,000 – ₹18,000
Storage, per month₹2,500 – ₹8,000, based on the volume stored

Things like a third-floor walk-up without a lift, a long carry from the truck to the door, or wooden crating for a large mirror are listed as clear add-ons in the same rate card. That way, the employee's quote is built from agreed lines, and your approver can check it in a minute. How our pricing works

We suggest reviewing the rate card once a year, or sooner if your transfer pattern changes, for example if you open a new branch in a city you did not move people to before. Any change is agreed in writing before it applies to a new move. Moves already approved stay at the old rate.

Part two · For the employee & family

Your company signed the transfer letter. We will handle the move.

A transfer brings a long list of jobs at once. You are finishing work at the old office, looking for a flat in a city you barely know, giving notice to your landlord and maybe finding a new school. The move itself should not be one more thing to worry about. That is why your company chose us.

Within 24 hours of HR sharing your details, your move manager calls you. They introduce themselves, explain what your company's policy covers in plain words, and book a survey at your home or by video call. From then on, you talk to them directly. You do not need to go through HR for every question.

On packing day, our team packs everything: the kitchen, the beds, the steel almirah, the TV and the children's toys. Fragile things are wrapped one by one, and every box is labelled by room. You check the item list and sign it before the truck leaves. Keep your jewellery, cash, important papers, medicines and laptop with you.

Want something moved that is not covered by the policy, like an extra fridge or a big indoor plant collection? Your move manager gives you a separate written price for it. You decide, with no pressure and no awkward surprises later.

While your things are on the road, your move manager sends you updates, so you can plan your own travel and the first night at the new place. On delivery day, someone from the family should be at the new home to show us where things go and to sign once everything is in.

Settling in

A move planned around the whole family

The employee may be the one changing jobs, but everyone in the house is moving. We plan with that in mind.

Settling into a new city

Beds are set up first, then the kitchen, so your first night is comfortable. Boxes go to the right rooms, and we can unpack the kitchen and wardrobes if your policy includes it.

Moving during the school year

We plan around exams and admission dates where we can. School books and uniforms go in a box marked "open first", so children are ready for their new school from day one.

When the spouse moves later

Often the employee joins first and the family follows. We can split the move into two trips, or keep goods in storage until the family is ready, within what your policy allows.

Parents moving with you

Elderly parents should not be lifting boxes. We pack their room with extra care, keep their medicines and daily things aside, and set up their bed and chair before anything else.

The first week in a new city is the hardest. You do not know the local shops, the water timings in the society or which auto stand is closest. We cannot fix all of that, but we can make the house ready fast. If you notice a loose wardrobe door or need the empty cartons taken away a few days later, tell your move manager and we will arrange it.

Corporate tie-up

How to set up a tie-up with us

You do not need a long tender to get started. Many companies begin with a single transfer, see how it goes, and then sign a rate card. Here is the usual path.

  1. 1

    An intro call

Tell us roughly how many transfers you expect, which cities they usually involve and what your current pain points are.

  2. 2

    Share your relocation policy

We read it and point out anything unclear, like whether unpacking or car transport is covered for each grade.

  3. 3

Agree the rate card and process

We send a draft rate card, the approval steps and an invoice format. You change what you need until it fits.

  4. 4

    Send your first transfer

Share the employee's details and the move begins. After the first few moves, we review together what to improve.

If your company has a vendor onboarding process, we will fill in your forms and share the company documents your procurement team asks for. Tell us what your process needs, and we will work through it with you, step by step, instead of leaving HR to chase papers.

What we need from HR

A few details up front save many calls later

Most delays in employee moves come from missing information, not from the truck. When we have these details at the start, the employee's move manager can plan the whole move in one go.

For each new transfer, a short email with the employee's name, phone number, both cities, the joining date and their grade is enough. We do the rest.

Please let the employee know that we will be calling them. A quick line from HR, such as "Lifter Shifter will contact you about your move", means they pick up our call and trust it. We use their details only for their move.

Your relocation policy

What each grade can move, and whether vehicles, storage and unpacking are included.

One approver and one billing contact

The person who says yes to quotes, and the person who receives invoices. It can be the same person.

Guest housing or hotel details

If the company puts the family up somewhere at first, tell us the dates, so storage and delivery match the day they get their new keys.

GST details and billing address

So every invoice is right the first time and your finance team does not have to send it back.

Joining dates as early as possible

Two to three weeks' notice gives the family the best choice of dates, especially in the month-end rush.

How you want reports

Weekly, monthly or only when something changes. Email, shared sheet or call. Your choice.

Common questions

Questions from HR teams and employees

Whether you manage transfers or you are the one moving, here are the answers people look for most often.

Read all questions

Do we need a contract to use your corporate service?

No. You can start with one move at our standard quote. A rate card makes sense once you expect regular transfers.

Can the employee pay for extras themselves?

Yes. Anything outside the policy can be quoted and billed to the employee separately, so your invoice shows only what the company covers.

What if something is damaged during the move?

The employee notes it on the delivery sheet and tells the move manager. We inform HR, and if insurance was taken, we guide the claim within 48 hours.

Do you move employees between small towns too?

Yes. If a truck can reach the address, we can plan the move. Timelines for remote places may be a little longer, and we say so upfront.

Is transit insurance included?

It can be added to every move as part of your rate card. Your account manager explains what it covers and how a claim works. Read about insurance.

I am the employee. Whom do I call with questions?

Your move manager. You get their number on the first call, and they handle everything from survey to delivery.

Can my car and bike move with the household?

Yes, on a matching schedule so you are not without a vehicle for long. Keep the RC and insurance papers ready, and your move manager will tell you what else is needed.

Can you also move our office?

Yes. If a whole team or branch is shifting, see our office relocation service. One account manager can handle both.
